(Photo: Splash News Online) Grieving Jennifer Hudson got a little boost from her Grammy nominations Wednesday night. Her self-titled debut album earned 4 nominations.
"It's abeen a childhood dream of mine to release an album, so to receive 4 Grammy nominations is truly a blessing. I am extremely honored and humbled."
The nomations are for R&B Album of the Year, Best R&B Song (Spotlight), Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, and Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals (I'm His Only Woman with Fantasia).
Ironically, the news came the day after her ex-brother-in-law, William Balfour, was charged with the murder of her mother Darnell Donerson, her brother Jason, and her 7 year-old nephew Julian King.
The 27 year-old Oscar-winner has made no comment about the charge.
