Cowell Leaving Idol?

With all the talk about whether Paula Abdul will stay or go on American Idol, it's beginning to look like one of her fellow judges may be getting ready to bolt.
"I'll make a decision about (whether to stay with the show) next year," Simon Cowell told reporters on Wednesday. Turns out he's concerned about his exhausting schedule and the fact that "this show could continue for another 10 years."
Cowell also commented on the controversy surrounding Paula Goodspeed, the contestant who killed herself at Abdul's home. Contrary to Abdul's comments, he said the producers didn't ignore a potential problem: they simply weren't aware of one.

"These guys have the utmost integrity as human beings," Cowell said. He said he wouldn't be working with them "if they were the kind of people who would deliberately do something like that. We've taken them on their word that they didn't know this person was as troubled as she was."
