Coldplay Hot On iTunes

Coldplay ruled the digital music age this year. Viva la Vida was the most popular iTunes album download of the year, beating Jack Johnson's Sleep Through the Static, Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III, and the Juno soundtrack.
Coldplay's CD has sold over 2 million copies since its June release, as well as over 500,000 digital copies.
As for individual tracks, the title track of Coldplay's album was iTunes No. 2 most downloaded song, having been beaten by Leona Lewis' Bleeding Love.

Viva la Vida is the first song by a British group to be number-one on the Billboard Hot 100 since the Spice Girls' 1997 Wannabe.
