It's right up there with winning the lottery, folks.
Fox has bought the movie rights to How to Talk to Girls, a 46-page book written by 9 year-old Alec Greven, who is in the fourth grade in Castle Rock, Colorado.
Greven wrote the booklet and sold copies for 3 bucks at his school book fair. It came to the attention of publisher Harper Collins which published it in November. Fox -- which, like the publisher, is a division of Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. -- picked up the rights for a modest six figures.
- Johnny Depp's Longtime Pal, Legendary Rock N' Roll Guitarist Jeff Beck Dead At 78
- Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s Tell-All Netflix Series Delayed To 2023 After Attacks On ‘The Crown’
- Dianne Feinstein Refuses To Retire Before Her Senate Term Ends In 2024 Despite Colleagues Arguing She Is 'Mentally Unfit To Serve'
Which, to a 9 year-old, is the equivalent of a modest seven figures!
Way to go, Alex!
