Vick Off The Bench?

Okay, we know the victimized dogs have a future, with Georgia, Handsome Dan, Curly, and the others from Michael Vick's dogfighting ring starring on a line of boutique wine.
But what about the perp himself?
The 28 year-old Pro Bowl superstar will be headed to a Virginia court later today to further explain what he did and what he's learned. Looking beyond that, though, he seems to want to return to professional football.
Vick's prison-based hiatus came on the heels of having signed a record-shattering $130 million, 10 year contract with the Atlanta Falcons 4 years ago this month. Owner Arthur Blank says he wants no part of the guy, but what about other teams? According to an AP poll, at least 6 teams would be interested in having him.
What about the players? Those interviewed also seem in a forgiving mood.
"Just like any other American citizen, he deserves a chance to work," said Tampa Bay linebacker Derrick Brooks. "I think that's first and foremost, and his employment was football."
