Back in Alaska, Governor Sarah Palin is looking ahead.
In the near future, she wants to be able to provide the United States with more oil from the oil-rich state. But in the far future, she's looking toward the 2012 Presidential elections.
"We're going to have a 2012," she told reporter Greta Van Susteren, speaking of the Republican party. Speaking of her own role in it she added, "I don't know who's going to be a part of it. You know, faith is a very big part of my life and putting my life in my creator's hands, this is what i do. I'm like, ok, God, is, if there is an open door for me somewhere?"

Translating for the non-Sarah-speakers, she went on, "If there is an open door in...4 years and it's something that's going to be good for my family, my state, my nation, then I'll plow through the door."
The nation -- and Tina Fey -- are breathlessly waiting.
