Rumble On The Beach

The two surfers accused of the assault in the Malibu beach attack on paparazzo Richi Altmbareckouhammou in June have pleaded innocent.
30-year-old Philip Hildebrand and 24-year-old Skylar Peak supposedly jumped the photographer as he was shooting candid pictures of actor Mathew McConaughey, who was surfing. The two men had apparently been drinking beer and seemingly felt it was their duty to defend the privacy of the Fools Gold star.

To make matters worse, Altmbareckouhammou was standing with a group of paparazzi. In addition to himself, one photographer received a broken nose in the brawl and another was thrown into rocks, damaging his camera.
Hildebrand and Peak are charged with misdemeanor battery and a judge set their hearing for January 14.
