Due to concerns for her safety, Rihanna has canceled a concert that had been planned for Indonesia.
Event spokeswoman Dive Purnomo said the star was supposed to perform before an SRO crowd of 6,000 Friday in the capital city of Jakarta.
The singer changed her mind while she was still in Australia, which issued a travel advisory after the executions of three Islamic militants who had been convicted in the Bali bombings of 2002. The governments of both nations were concerned that followers of the dead men might attempt revenge attacks.
