Pete Wentz Barely Survives Ashlee Labor

(Photo: Splash News Online) In his first interview since becoming a father, Pete Wentz said that being in the delivery room right before Ashlee Simpson gave birth was "pretty surreal."
"Right before she went into labor, I was like, 'Oh my God, I think I'm having a heart attack!" Wentz told Ryan Seacrest on his KIISFM radio show click for audio. "Natural things start going on in your body. My heart started beating really fast. You see your wife in all this pain, and you really don't know what's happening."
Wentz added that Ashlee "took care of me and made sure I was OK and then we went into labor. That's why she's a saint."
