Of all the people to suddenly discover a strong faith in Christianity,
who would've expected it of Anne Rice, the author of the novel that was the basis for the 1994 Tom Cruise flick Interview With the Vampire and many other tales of bloodsuckers, devils, and mummies.
Well, you can read all about it in Called Out of Darkness: A Spiritual Confession, which has ascended the best-seller lists.
"To be able to take the tools, the apprenticeship, whatever I learned from being a vampire writer (and) put them in the service of God is a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful opportunity," said the 67 year-old author. "And I hope I can redeem myself in that way. I hope that the Lord will accept the books I am writing now."
