Halliwell Dumps Young Lover

Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has given 29-year-old Ivan 'Flipz' Velez the boot.
"Geri said she'd hoped it would be an amazing love-of-her-life romance, but that the spark just wasn't there," said one close friend.
The 36-year-old singer, known for being a picky dater, broke up with Velez over the phone three weeks ago after she returned to the United Kingdom.
"She couldn't deal with the distance between them and thought it was best to end it before he got even more hurt," explained her friend.
Velez is apparently devastated and eager to convince Geri to change her mind. However, deep down Halliwell is reportedly anxious to have more kids and get married.
"Geri has been trying to meet the man of her dreams - but she just can't seem to get there," said the friend.
Geri: several staff members here have offered to give it a try, if you're game!
