Going Greene
Nov. 4 2008, Published 1:00 p.m. ET
Anthony Edwards left the hit series ER six years ago, in about as definitive a way as one can imagine: he died of a brain tumor during the 2002 season.
But he returns on November 13 in flashback sequences with County General docs Kerry Weaver and Robert Romano.
"It was really like going back to high school, in the best way," Edwards tells AP. "After about a half an hour, I really felt like I'd never left."
His character also runs into Dr. Cate Banfield, who joined the series after his departure.
She'll be bringing her ailing son to him in that same flashback.
