Comic book legend Stan Lee (Spider-Man, The Hulk) is working on an hour-long TV series for Showtime.
Based on the book Hero by Perry Moore, the series centers around a young superhero who has the power to heal people. However, not only does Thom Creed have that one secret -- he has another, which he feels he has to keep from the public at large: he's gay.
Lee has been a fan of the novel since he first read it, calling it a "totally original, can't-put-it-down page turner."
