Final Season For Monk

USA Network's Monk will be wrapping after its 8th and final season.
For those of you who need a refresher, Tony Shalhoub plays Adrian Monk, a detective who suffers from OCD.
Shalhoub has been nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series 6 times in a row. He won 3 times, in '03, '05, and '06.
Sources say all parties involved agreed to end the show while it was still at its height.
"Our fans have been extremely dedicated, and Season 8 should prove to be a very satisfying reward" says Exec VP of Original Programming at USA, Jeff Wachel.
