CNN talk-show host Larry King caught his wife having an affair with the man he hired as a baseball coach for their young sons.

Shawn King carried on a year-long affair with Hector Penate, the National Enquirer is reporting exclusively in its new issue. Shawn, 48, carried on the affair right under the nose of her 74-year-old husband.

The Enquirer also reports that Shawn was so brazen, she and Hector made love on the desk in Larry's home office! (Note to Larry: Pledge isn't going to be enough here. You might want to think about getting new office furniture.)

Larry, who's been married seven times to six different women, is standing by Shawn, who recently spent time in rehab for a prescription pill dependency. They've been married for 11 years.

The affair unraveled as Shawn became more brazen and was seen in public with Hector, a one-time pro baseball prospect, reports the Enquirer. Larry eventually confronted and fired Hector. We're guessing Hector is not going to use Larry as a reference on his next job application.

Shawn denies the affair, but the Enquirer reports multiple sources have confirmed it and that Larry was the victimized but still loves his wife. Poor Larry. If only his work schedule wasn't so predictable he might have caught those two earlier.
