Duffy Burnin' Up

24-year-old pop sensation Duffy totally lost her cool only moments before a one-on-one with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin when her hair (totally) went up in flames!
The singer admits that while prepping for Mr. Martin's visit, "I was in the dressing room and I had dimmed the lights, then I lit this candle and it started melting a bit."
Sounds good so far, and...?
"I thought, 'S**t!' and started blowing it out. I got a cloth to wipe it and bent down, not realizing it was still lit. Then the entire left side of my hair went up in flames."
And where there's smoke, there's... Chris Martin!
Martin walked in as Duffy put out her flaming head.
"I hadn't met him before and the place stank of burning hair... Chris could smell it. You couldn't avoid smelling it."
Despite the 'miss fire', Duffy opened for Coldplay on their North American leg of the tour.
