Charles Not In Charge

Prince Charles, who is next in line for the throne, turns 60 tomorrow; making him the British royal to have waited longer than any heir in English history!
No one's exactly sobbing for the wealthy, privileged Prince, whose mum the Queen is throwing her son a birthday bash at Buckingham Palace tonight. She's got London's Philharmonia Orchestra serenading him.
Still, Charles can't get a promotion until Queen Elizabeth steps down or passes on.
"Most of us look forward to our new jobs," historian Andrew Roberts told the Associated Press, "but the circumstances under which her reign comes to an end means that he can't, emotionally and psychologically."
Charles' wife Camilla is hosting a private party for hubby on their country estate on Saturday. Nothing fancy this time, with just Rod Stewart to perform.
