Batman Sues... Batman?

This is one for the (comic) books: the mayor of the Turkish city of Batman is suing Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan and Warner Brothers for a share of the profits from this summer's blockbuster film.
"There is only one Batman in the world," Mayor Huseyin Kalkan says in his lawsuit. "The American producers used the name of our city without informing us." Kalkan says his city was founded before 1939, when Batman first appeared in 'Detective Comics' # 27.

Charges include psychological damage caused by the film's success, including a higher than normal suicide rate and a series of murders.
