Against all odds, Patrick Swayze celebrated completion of the first season of his A&E series The Beast last night with an intimate wrap party at a Chicago nightclub.
The small affair was held at The Underground Chicago, a bar restaurant that is literally underground.
"Patrick arrived early was whisked through the door as the doorman checked his name off the list," said an observer outside. "It seemed a very low-key gathering. It went from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and was an older crowd of mostly the producer's friends and some interns."

"There were no paparazzi and no gapers. A lot of invitees stepped outside to smoke, but it seems Patrick managed to resist the temptation."
Patrick may be finished, but RadarOnline.com has learned that an extra day of shooting has been added, which might be livelier than the wrap party. An Irish bar scene, complete with step dancing and music is being shot today at Chicago Studio City, where The Beast is anchored.
