Alicia Silverstone Not Clueless - She's Writing A Book

(Photo: Splash News Online) Even though her TV pilot Bad Mother's Handbook was not picked up for a series, Alicia Silverstone is still managing to keep busy.

The 32 year-old Clueless star and animal rights activist is writing a food and fitness book called The Kind Diet. It'll tell readers how to use plant-based foods to help their bodies and the planet. Rodale will publish the volume in the fall of 2009.

"We were equally struck by the breadth of her knowledge about environmental issues and the impact of diet on the planet as we were by the depth of her commitment to these very important causes," publishing director Pam Krauss said.
