Sources familiar with the dealings say Microsoft is primed to make another move for the company, though according to CEO Steve Ballmer, negotiations have not yet returned to the full-scale, $44 billion takeover that was on the table in late January. Still, all signs point to that being a likely endgame as most people assume that, given anything less, there's little reason for Yahoo to pursue a deal with Microsoft instead of industry overlord Google.
