Not content with the simplicity of the Vanity Validator they launched in tandem with their Julia Allison cover (scroll down), the obsessive folks over at Wired are testing out a spankin' new device to measure exactly how important you are: It's the Wired Celebrity Meter, and it tracks all those things that are track-able via your Myspace, Twitter, and personal blog URLs. Why, you ask? Because, well, why wonder when you can ruin your day/weekend/life trying to recoup the time you've wasted in building your brand? We don't really get it, to be honest, but we expect you'll prefer your Vanity Validator numbers. Just a hunch.
