WHAT, NO BOSTON? Alien Rock
When you're famous and shallow (or in Van Halen), sometimes you need something to believe in that's simpler than Scientology, less obvious than The Secret, and not as complicated as Kabbalah. Hey! UFOs!
Writer Michael Luckman, the author of Alien Rock: The Rock 'n' Roll Extraterrestrial Connection, has explored celeb alien sightings in the past and is now intent on putting together a "Signal Space Concert," a show he envisions beaming pop music and laser holograms deep into the galaxy by satellite "for the purpose of establishing peaceful contact."

And he's not alone in his endeavors. Luckman says David Lee Roth is enthusiastic about participating in the project and that calls have gone out to Paul McCartney, Elton John, and Aerosmith as well as to major corporations requesting sponsorship. And those gets might not be as far-fetched as they sound.
