HARVEY'S GIRL Chapman, with Craig
Harping on what it clearly sees as another case of Hollywood back-scratching, The New York Times investigates the link between fashion faves of the moment Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig of Marchesa and movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, who is dating Chapman. Unknown to fashionistas a year ago, Marchesa is expected by insiders to rule the red carpet at this year's Oscars. Rumors have swirled for months that an appearance in a Marchesa gown can lead to an appearance in a Weinstein movie, or vice versa.

Say what you will about the odd couple—neither Chapman's line nor her acting career has exactly been hurt by Harvey's golden touch. The Weinstein Company produced the last three films she has appeared in, The Nanny Diaries, Factory Girl, and Derailed. Sienna Miller, star of Factory Girl, wore Marchesa to this year's Golden Globes, and stylist-to-the-stars Rachel Zoe was front row center at Marchesa's fall collection in New York.
