You know how the Internet is making everyone nastier (ALLEGEDLY)? Well that's bad news for the gays, already a fairly nasty lot. Over at the New York Times, there is a story called "Many Gays Don't Tell Doctors Their Sexuality, Study Finds." Writes a commenter there: "'Gays'? What is this, 1960? Why don't you just say 'THE Gays,' and while you're at it, 'The Blacks' and 'The Jews'? If you're pro-openness, how about cultivating a safe environment with non-pejorative language?
