Postrel, Coe (inset) 'Tis the season for ladyblog launches—you haven't forgotten NonSociety yet, have you? For shame! This time around, Peabody-winner and film critic Kate Coe has joined forces with writer Virginia Postrel, author of 2004's well-received The Substance of Style, to start deepglamour.net, launched just this morning on the World Wide Web. (It seems deepglamour.com was already taken, and the available but horrifyingly declassé deepglamor.com obviously wouldn't do—hence the DOS-age TLD. Sorry, sorry, we're putting our nerd away this instant.) And what should you expect from Coe and Postrel? "We'll be writing about glamour, allure and all the seductive images that bombard us in the media and culture and what they really mean," is how their e-announcement puts it. Hoo boy. But! We took a quick look-see over yonder ... and we don't hate it at all!
