Donatella Versace has some unsolicited words of fashion wisdom for Hillary Clinton. Though it might seem unlikely that the senator will slither into one of D.V.'s notoriously plunging gowns anytime soon, the designer is not giving up hope on the possibility of a female in the White House. Unimpressed with the politico's endless round of pastel pink power suits, Donatella proposes a dramatic makeover.
In the New Yorker's Style Issue, Versace notes, "I would suggest her not to do too many suits, because they make her look hard.... Little dresses, not too light, but I think she need big colors because she's a blonde like I am. A good shade of blue—deep, deep purple, but no pastel. And no reds! Very small heels—not thin—and black sheer stockings! I would love her to become the most glamorous president ever!"
Versace's next step? Re-doing the Oval Office with white leather sofas and her signature Medusa motif.
