ILL SUITED Vaughn
Back in October, a handful of tabloid newspapers reported that Vince Vaughn had split with Jennifer Aniston, having been caught making time with another woman. The burly Wedding Crasher chivalrously vowed to sue for libel, and, through a British law firm, issued a strongly worded statement directed at the Sun and Daily Mirror of London and the New York Post. It concluded, ominously, "The case is expected to go to Jury trial in London's High Court in 2007, if it does not settle earlier." That, of course, was six weeks before Vaughn and Aniston confirmed their breakup in People.
