WIDE OPEN Trump
He may not want his balance sheet picked over in court, but Donald Trump still wants the world to know he's a legitimate billionaire. Responding to disparaging claims from Rosie O'Donnell and New York Times reporter Tim O'Brien, the real-estate baron has given BusinessWeek a glimpse at documents that reveal his true net worth—give or take a few hundred million bucks. The documents provided by Allen Weisselberg, Trump's chief financial officer, put the size of his fortune at $4.1 billion ($4.8 billion in assets, $700 million in liabilities.) Of course, that's assuming you believe Trump's valuations of his own properties—not to mention his claim that the Trump name is "the hottest brand on the planet."
