In case you hadn't noticed, there's a big fat mess brewing over at Mötley Crüe Inc.
Hot on the heels of the finger pointing about who was the bigger bitch in the Tommy Lee-Kid Rock slapfight at the VMAs, word is Tommy Lee's quitting Mötley Crüe. Everyone but Lee says the band's manager screwed them out of money and pulled Lee away to do crap reality shows like Tommy Goes to College and Rockstar: Supernova thus preventing them from touring.
Late yesterday, reports surfaced that Tommy is leaving the band. Then later yesterday, Lee released the following statement via his publicist: "I am a founding member of Mötley Crüe. Based on internal band issues aired publicly, my future with the band is uncertain. I have tried to meet with my bandmates repeatedly without success but have informed them that I'm not walking away from my band of 25 years. It troubles me that the current legal issues which were filed by the corporations against my personal manager are separating us and causing more dysfunction. I hope we can work this out amongst ourselves."
