Tom Ford Gives Italy the Finger, Italy Fingers Back

FINGER BLAST Ford ad The Italian Advertising Institute (IAA) has banned the above ad for Tom Ford sunglasses from the country. (Whoops! It's already run in three women's mags there.) It didn't harp on other shots in the series—one with a naked woman clutching the junk of a man in a suit and another with a naked woman ironing while a man sits smoking a cigar nearby. The IAA called the finger pic "sexually implicit," harping on its "explicit and provocative character," and saying the image "goes beyond acceptable limits for advertising aimed at the general public." It could have been a lot grodier. AP via Breitbart
