BLAKE LIVELY AND HER ENORMOUS PURSE "Gossip Girl" Star Blake Lively (Photo: Getty Images) First there was Transformers hottie Meghan Fox, who really is awesome, discussing the joys of ball-cupping and the evils of Disney in the October GQ and then Penn Badgley, the delightful young star of Gossip Girl, was complimenting his co-stars for being appropriately fat. This is a great week for feminism! Badgley, the former Will and Grace guest star, even went so far as to suggest that the girls of 90210, who are very pretty way in that way that praying mantises are pretty, "eat a double cheeseburger." (Of course Badgley is from Baltimore so he is used to a big girl.) Today, two outlets chime in usefully! Jezebel has a huge series of photos from the Teen Vogue party last night, which helpfully displays how poorly-dressed and also tiny the identically-sized young ladies of today are. And! The LA Times helpfully chimes in with a photogallery of Hollywood women over the years. Even more helpfully, they note that, for Meryl Streep, "the focus was always on her acting chops." Instead of, I guess, on her lady chops? Wait, exactly why are we talking about Meryl Streep pegged to the young mannequins of 90210 again?
