It's okay to breathe now. This year's Pulitzer Prize winners have been announced. The committee spread the love evenly this year, with only the Wall Street Journal taking home more than one prize (a Public Service award for its coverage of stock option scandals, and an International Reporting award for its series on the adverse effects of China's booming economy). The New York Times and Los Angeles Times each came away with just one award; the Washington Post, despite several nominations, was blanked (outdone by both Newsday and the New York Daily News).
