Hey, we love it when the writers win.
The New Jersey Appellate Court has denied Donald Trump's request for a book author to name his sources.
Nearly three years ago, Trump sued writer Timothy O'Brien and the publisher of Trump Nation to find out the names of the three people who confided that the real estate magnate was worth less than a billion dollars. Trump said the lowball estimates of his worth hurt his credit and business interests.
O'Brien refused to name the sources and the courts have agreed with him.
"Details of the life of Trump... constitute matters of public interest and is 'news' protected by the 'Shield Law,'" Judge Payne wrote in his decision.
