Stuff Names New Editor in Chief, At Last

Congratulations, Dan Bova. After a five-month audition period, Bova has been promoted to editor in chief of Stuff. As executive editor of the monthly lad title, he's been serving as acting editor in chief since Jimmy Jellinek was put in charge of sister title Maxim in May.
Though Maxim's James Heidenry also lobbied for the Stuff job, Bova was the staff favorite. So why wait five months just to give the guy a promotion that was practically a foregone conclusion? Economics, says a Dennis Publishing source: "They got him at the cheaper rate for this whole time. It's kind of par for the course here."
