FEETS DON'T FAIL ME NOW Tyler Alongside such popular favorites as "alcohol abuse," "drug addiction," "depression," and "exhaustion," we have a new entry to the list of Reasons Why People Go to Rehab: "To correct long-time foot injuries resulting from... trademark athletic performance onstage."
That's Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler's excuse for seeking treatment at the Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena, California, per a press release we just received from his publicist. (Coincidentally, it's the same facility where Dr. Drew works.) "The doctors told me the pain in my feet could be corrected but I would require a few surgeries over time," Tyler is quoted as saying. "The foot repair pain was intense, greater than I'd anticipated. The months of rehabilitative care and the painful strain of physical therapy were traumatic. I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet."
