Badgley Mischka perfume, apparently, is as irresistible as crack for the Town & Country set. While the ladies in the front row of Thursday's evening wear show—including the label's spokesmodel Teri Hatcher and socials Ivana Trump, Jamee Gregory, and Cornelia Guest—exhibited restraint with the freebie scent, not everyone was quite so discrete.
Up in the nosebleed section of the tent, several well-coiffed 50-something ladies made it their mission to bag as much of the fragrance as possible before the show began. One of the old birds even stooped to stealing seats and faking identities in the process, claiming, Priyantha Silva-style, that she was, ahem, RadarOnline.com's Sarah Horne. Me.
So the tough old ladies who lunch just love the eau de Badgley. What's not so clear is why former Socialite Rank auteur Valentine Rei was so desperate to pick up multiple boxes of the decidedly feminine swag. Rei was spotted cruising the room, blonde locks a-flowing, with two boxes of the loot before a model had even stepped on the runway.
