Scaredy-Cat Bush, Who Fired Rove In Church, To Be Impeached!

Last week, Salon ran an excerpt from Machiavelli's Shadow, Paul Alexander's history of Karl Rove, the most awesome personage in recent American politics. In that excerpt, he shows how Rove and the White House lied about everything in New Orleans after Katrina, shoveling off the blame for the destruction of one of America's greatest cities on the slightly starstruck black mayor and the nice lady governor. What didn't come out in the excerpt was exactly how afraid of Rove the president was. That's okay—because finally someone has decided to call for the impeachment of Bush! Now the truth will come out! Wait—no? Really?
