On the way to spending 20 years in federal prison for bilking investors of more than $400 million, abandoning your SUV on a bridge overpass, scribbling "Suicide is Painless" on the windshield, and hitting the highway in a new RV hidden nearby may be as good an idea the overwhelming circumstances permit an enterprising person to make (actually jumping notwithstanding). The thing is, in haste, the person's bound to forget about that chick he left behind—the doting loyal who stuffed the RV with cucumber sandwiches and Snackwells before his "trip," and the one feds will surely arrest first. So goes the case of fugitive Samuel Israel III and his ladypal Debra Ryan, a woman arrested and released on bond Thursday and now facing 10 years for aiding and abetting her monster mate. And Israel? Cops have taken to the great RV parks of this land, where they're bound to find, among various other aggressive happenings, little frightened Sammy riding from carriage to carriage on a moped, gathering disability checks and financial planning for locals.
