LAW ENFORCEMENT ASK MEDIA ORGANIZATIONS TO EXERCISE CAUTION

(Saint Paul, Minnesota) - Law enforcement coordinating security related to the Republican National Convention are asking media representatives to exercise caution, following credible reports that media may be targeted by groups wishing to cause disruption and damage.

Information obtained by law enforcement indicates that some groups may be planning to target media, either by doing damage to property or assaulting personnel. Members of the media are advised to pay close attention to their surroundings and to call 911 if the need arises.

Some groups, eh? Insert your own "they're called Republican delegates" joke here.
