Rev. Wright Caught With Chicken In Woman's Roost

Barack Obama is likely far less concerned that his former Reverend Jeremiah Wright got caught poking some married church lady than he is with the fact that people are once again writing about the America-hating holy man. The New York Post has the goods on Wright's relationship with 37-year-old Elizabeth Payne, who says the affair led to her getting fired from her job at the church of one of Wright's proteges. Payne's husband, who divorced her after finding lurid email exchanges with Wright, told the Post, "I was downright mad about this bullshit." Just in case you thought he was the mentally stable one in this whole mess, he dispelled the notion by adding, "People wouldn't be happy to know that my wife was sleeping with a black man."

This isn't Wright's first run in with wife-stealing. Last May it came out that Wright had stolen his current wife from her husband when the couple sought his counsel in the early 80s. Doing god's work, this man is.
