TALE OF TWO TORIS Spelling If you're like most people, when you think of great literature, you think of the life of Tori Spelling. How else could it be that not one but two book proposals based on Spelling's bitter split from Charlie Shanian are now making the rounds?
Shanian, who divorced the Beverly Hills 90210 star after she dropped him for actor Dean McDermott in September 2005, is trying to interest publishers in a self-help book, based on his own experience, for guys trying to get over heartbreak and humiliation, according to a book industry insider who has seen the proposal.
