Ransoming Alec Baldwin from PR Hell

CALL A PRIEST Baldwin
When an actor does something especially unfortunate (say, leave a scathing message for his tween daughter that includes the words "thoughtless little pig"), a lot of crisis publicists won't even touch him. So the fact that almost none of our trusty experts would comment on Alec Baldwin's stock this week must mean that he is in for a bumpy ride. He is, after all, trying to flee the country.

RadarOnline.com did manage to find two publicists brave enough to take on Baldwin's dilemma—if only hypothetically. Still, both 5WPR's Ronn Torossian and People's Revolution's Kelly Cutrone had plenty of advice for the mad dad. Cutrone took a tough love approach, saying, "I wouldn't represent him for all the money in the world. No publicist in their right mind would. He's a violent man that should be left on his own to see how slick he really is." Torossian was more laissez-faire, offering, "It's a blip! Not the end of the world...." But both agreed that under no circumstances should he appear on The View. Oh well.... Baldwin, you're in the PR/ER!
