Interview with Deaf Ex-Polygamy Compound Baller Actually Weirder Than You'd Imagine

Cleveland Cavaliers backup Lance Allred, who is the NBA's first-ever legally deaf player, lived on a polygamist compound until the age of 13. Since polygamy is back in the news cycle, CBS decided to call him up for an interview for The Early Show. Bad decision: Allred completely disregards the interviewer's first question, blames his "rehearsed"-sounding answers on the fact that he's writing a book, and claims that the sexual abuse of young girls by older dudes is "not a black and white thing." The clip thankfully comes to an end when he's cut off by the interviewer in the middle of a personal confession because of a time constraint. Or, more likely, because it's the most awkward interview ever. Via AOL
