Pirelli Mints New Baby Supermodels

Since today is soft-core porn disguised as fashion-editorial news day, it's time to crack out your 2008 Pirelli calendar, which features arty shots of models Agyness Deyn, Lily Donaldson, Gemma Ward, and Coco Rocha dressed up as geishas in an imagined colonial Shanghai and shot by Patrick Demarchelier. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the pin-up calendar, and we'd show you pictures except that Pirelli is notoriously litigious, which means you'll have to go here to check them out.
In news that may disappoint some, the ladies are significantly more clothed than in years past (last time around, the calendar featured Penelope Cruz, Naomi Watts, and Hilary Swank rolling around in their unmade beds), perhaps a move to up the fashion cred of the institution by actually showing garments instead of skin. The models who star in the portraits include many who made it onto Vogue's list of "The World's Next Top Models" list last year, so they're not exactly unknowns.
