Phony Story Well Runs Dry at OK!

TAKE ONE In Touch, November 13 Tabloids are often accused of making up stories about celebrities, but that's only half the truth. They also rip them off. Or at least that's what the British edition of OK! did in its Dec. 5 issue, virtually photocopying a two-page spread from the Nov. 13 issue of In Touch.
The In Touch feature was titled "Lindsay's Just Like Demi!"; OK! opted for the more anglicized "Lindsay Is Just Like Demi." Both mags offer side-by-side images purporting to show Lohan biting Moore's steez by wearing hair curlers, dating Bruce Willis, flashing the peace sign, and being female. (The nerve of that hussy, wearing a bikini to the beach! Everybody knows that's Demi's thing!)

"It's unbelievable," says an In Touch staffer of the transatlantic sniping. More unbelievable is OK!'s headline, which accuses Lohan of being "such a copycat."
