Bloated new media diva Mario Lavandeira, aka Perez Hilton, no longer has a home on YouTube. The day after a video he posted of a drunk, drugged-up Liza Minnelli was removed from the site for violating its copyright infringement policy, Hilton had a second account banned when he "posted a very critical video about their practices." Sayeth Perez on his blog: "Bullshit!!!!!! Ughhh. We have always been the biggest YouTube supporter and fan. We're heartbroken by their mismanagement of this whole situation."

We can only hope the backlash against Lavanderia continues in small incremenents—first YouTube, then The View, then MTV, then the entire Internet—until one day we can all peacefully reside in a world that has been wiped clean of every last trace of Hilton's extraordinarily loathsome, traffic-hogging existence.
Not that that's likely to happen anytime soon. Forbes just named Perez the most popular man on the web in 2007.
