BERT ALERT Fields Wednesday's New York Times story on the Anthony Pellicano saga said federal prosecutors called ten members of Bert Fields's law firm before a federal grand jury in a "last-ditch" effort to definitively link the Hollywood superlawyer to the illegal wiretapping activities of his favorite imprisoned P.I.
(Despite the predictable spin of Fields's pro-bono publicist, most observers assume this does not mean his troubles are "done and over.")
