Paris Ups Ante in Anti-Beckham Campaign

Is there enough room in Tinseltown for Paris Hilton and Victoria Beckham? Posh Spice has been doing her utmost to distance herself from the "reformed" hotel heiress, allegedly saying she'd only bond with the younger bottle blonde "over my dead body."
On her Coming To America television debut this week she also slighted Hilton, saying she couldn't understand why anyone in the public eye would run around without underwear. Now Paris, perhaps annoyed at Posh's media assault on America, is striking back, partying with the rival Chelsea footballers who are about to go head-to-head with Posh's hubby David Beckham.
Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich threw the bash in L.A. for the Chelsea team, inviting Paris, Tara Reid, and Serena Williams to fete his soccer stars in advance of their July 21 match versus L.A.'s Galaxy Team.
Paris cloyingly told the press she hoped Mister Beckham would turn out for the occasion. He didn't.
