HOT SEAT O'Reilly

Bill O'Reilly is going another round with David Letterman.

The pugnacious Fox News host let slip in an interview with the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel that he'll make another appearance on The Late Show. He hasn't been a guest on the CBS show since January, when, in a remarkably contentious (and much-forwarded) interview, Letterman upbraided O'Reilly for his lack of sympathy toward grieving war mom Cindy Sheehan, and said, "I have the feeling about 60 percent of what you say is crap."

Speaking to the Journal-Sentinel, O'Reilly contrasted Letterman's pointed, political attack with the more good-natured gibes of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.

"We don't mind if you make fun of us," he said. "But once you start to attack us personally, once you get an edge in your voice, you know, like Letterman had. . . . In fact, I think I'm going back on Letterman, which should be interesting."

O'Reilly's remarks apparently caught CBS off guard; the network is expected to announce the appearance, which RadarOnline.com has learned will take place on Oct. 27, sometime tomorrow.
